New project from Italian factory Molteni

The Italian factory Molteni, one of the trendsetters in the world of contemporary design furniture, has unveiled a new project. The 5-star Hotel Viu Milan, located in a lively area near Porta Volta in Milan, is a reflection of the spirit of the modern city with its progressive architecture and laconic interiors. Arassociati-studio and Nicola Galizia have turned to Molteni for a good reason: the factory displays state-of-the-art furniture and is considered one of the most technologically advanced furniture manufacturers in the world.

The brand's products have also become a sensation due to the endless number of international design greats collaborating with the factory: Rodolfo Dordoni, Patricia Urquiola, Jean Nouvel, Michele de Lucchi... By using quality materials, these people allow the realization of the most daring design ideas, combining wood and tubular aluminium, leather and rubber foam - the imagination of Molteni & C designers knows no limits.

Since its foundation in 1984 and up to now, the factory has been experimenting, looking for new forms and textures, sensitively observing trends and anticipating consumer demand.  In 1970, the factory was the first to release a special modular programme of cabinet furniture, on the basis of numerous blocks it was easy to assemble any interior composition, from cabinets and bookshelves to the entire room or office. Today, Molteni & C is a real furniture giant, covering all areas of interior design. Interiors of the brand can be found in the best modern restaurants and bars, hotels, boutiques, cafes.
