New tabletop collections from Turri

Sep 6, 2021

This season Turri is introducing three new dining groups at once. This means you have a stunning choice in a modern, concise style.

One of the highlights is the Pinnacle collection, designed by renowned Chinese designer Huang Quan. The line is a synthesis of Western and Eastern cultures: each piece hides a specific symbol. The name is not coincidental, either: the inspiration for the line comes from a mountain peak. The sculptural base of the table, the sweeping lines of the legs of the display case, the smooth curves of the backs of the chairs and even the materials - marble with its natural pattern and greyish wood - all relate to the image of majestic cliffs. At the same time, the designer's language is metaphorical: in the Pinnacle series, Huang Quan implies human self-improvement, upward movement, combined with simplicity, moderation and restraint.

The Milano collection is inspired by the northern capital of Italy. This year the line has been expanded with an original table designed by SBGA | Blengini Ghirardelli. Like all the pieces in the series, the table is conceived in such a way as to emphasise the lightness of the structure. Laconic wooden 'blades' that support the marble or glossy wooden table top create a play of shade and light, making the table look very effective and dominating the dining area.

A new piece has also appeared in Andrea Bonini's Zenit collection, launched in 2020. The factory's newest product is a sideboard designed specifically for the dining area. It looks interesting in combination with the Zenit table and chairs, but also as an independent element of the interior. One of the strengths of Turri is the ability to create effective and at the same time versatile furniture, including through the combination of expensive materials. In the new sideboard, for example, the three closed, lacquered wooden doors are deliberately interrupted by a streamlined, leather-clad unit with an open shelf.

In the new collections Turri continues its Italian route to beauty - perfecting, experimenting and offering high-quality furniture for connoisseurs of noble minimalism. Take your pick!
