Together Apart[ment] - a unique project from Diesel & Moroso
Jul 27, 2021
Showcasing the unique Together Apart[ment] project by Diesel & Moroso. The Italian brands have produced joint furniture collections, which have been used to decorate the interior of a Milanese penthouse with glass walls. The furnishings, which blur the boundaries between the home and the outside world, will be on view during Milan's Fuorisalone Design Week 2021.
The idea behind the new collection is a mix of two contemporary trends: aggressive aesthetics and soft, inviting forms inspired by nature. All the products in the range 'speak the same language' and blend together harmoniously without losing their individuality.
The new Cloudscape sofa is made from recycled cotton. It almost looks like a cloud: a modular system with soft shapes, large down cushions as well as a backrest and armrests whose position can be adjusted.

The Camp bed is designed in a military style. It features a padded base and a headboard which is covered in linen, cotton or leather with double stitching. The high headboard has an additional quilted insert, upholstered in contrast or matching diamond pattern fabric.

The Mecano shelving system is reminiscent of the utilitarian metal partitions popular in mid-20th century offices. The design of the new bookcase clearly demonstrates its technical features and its unique architectural skeleton.

Pylon is the new liquid stoneware desk. The sleek steel legs are inspired by the design of the LED pylon. The table top made of liquid stoneware has a marble effect. The vintage-style table is characterised by a rougher aesthetic than previous models and combines two different types of material in the company's signature style.

The light and sleek version of the iconic Nebula Light sofa is a minimalist and informal model for everyone who loves modern style and simple shapes.

The new project by Diesel Living and Moroso is a mood of absolute comfort and contemporary style with simple, soft shapes, clean lines and high-quality materials. It represents a "come-back to life" of the quarantined years and a revival of the relevance of interiors.
