Grand opening: Désirée in Milan's most prestigious district

The Italian factory Désirée has furnished apartments in Segrate Village, a prestigious new residential area on the outskirts of Milan with around 400 contemporary flats. On the occasion of an "open house", the completed solutions were presented to the public and immediately sold out.
One of these apartments we are taking a look at today. Here we can see two popular sofa models by Marc Sadler: the bestseller Monopoli and the already well loved novelty Lovely Day.
Monopoli is known primarily for its modular design, which gives it great flexibility and maximum freedom of composition: new owners can easily move the backs and armrests, positioned either in the centre or against the wall. The understated design and rectangular forms allow the model to blend into any modern environment.
Lovely Day is ideal for bright, spacious interiors. The weightless design is raised on sculptural legs. At the top is a wide rectangular oasis - a seat with stitched in corner cushions that act as backrests and armrests. The movable cushions are characterised by a special adjustment system that allows you to position them at different angles. Lovely Day by Désirée is essentially a sofa bed for both everyday conversations with friends and romantic one-to-one meetings.
