Geometric rhythm is a new trend in interiors
Jun 23, 2021
Grids, modules, frameworks, grid structures on surfaces, partitions that divide interior zones and rooms - recently designers have been offering more and more design solutions that combine aesthetics with technology. Space adopts geometric rhythms from doors, cabinets and panels, which are transformed into real home architecture.
The Sherazade Slide interior sliding doors were invented for the Glas Italia brand by the talented designer Piero Lissoni. The slim aluminium sections create a patchwork quilt of coloured transparencies. The surface of the elegant panel is divided into four segments into which different types of monolithic tempered glass are placed. Thanks to the sealing, these panels are inserted in the centre of the aluminium frames, for which five different finishes are available. The extraordinary doors not only divide the interior space, but also add a highlight to the interior: the coloured glare on the furniture looks fantastic.

Maxi sliding panels are a new product this year, produced by the Italian factory Rimadesio and designed by Giuseppe Bavuso. The glass surfaces are surrounded by an irregular aluminium grid, designed to provide maximum strength and stability to the structure. The result is an austere yet light composition, where translucency and reflections in the mix of finishes offer countless aesthetic solutions. The configurable system is capable of adapting to large rooms, with panels that reach up to 3500 mm in height and 2000 mm in width.

Armadio al Centimetro is the first modular wardrobe programme on the Italian market, launched by Lema in the 1980s and never losing its relevance since then. Every year the factory continues to improve the product. Thus, the wardrobes are equipped with Air Cleaning System, which eliminates over 90% of unpleasant odours and disinfects clothes, shoes and other items stored inside. From this year, Lema offers an equally impressive new product. This is the green version, made from 100% recyclable materials. The model is also available in a new technological solution where glass panels are inserted in aluminium frames. The frames are available in bronze and sand finishes, while the glass has three options for transparency.
