The latest Midj innovations - in this project!

Aug 2, 2017

Italian furniture manufacturer Midj is delighting its fans with a fresh project: the brand's new collections can be seen in the Sendi restaurant in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Midj's philosophy, based on principles such as the symbiosis of creativity, technology and craftsmanship traditions, is evident in this project. A noble and tranquil neoclassic style settles into the loft interior, balancing the bare wiring and pronounced carelessness of the walls.

From over 300 exclusive Midj solutions, the owners choose laconic, yet not lacking in flair contemporary solutions. These include the armless chairs from the Apelle collection, designed by Beatrice Sempere.

Beatrice's first project for Midj was a model made of paper, but the designer herself was aware that the model was more eccentric than versatile. Her later designs retained the designer's subtle irony, but are now robust and functional.

The Apelle collection is inspired by a smile. By the designer's own admission, she wanted to propose a form that gives joy and energy to the environment. At the same time, the form draws strength from the material: metal, leather and wood lend strength to the piece.

The leather for Midj's furniture is tanned by European manufacturers and then passed through the tanning process and sewn in the Cordovado factories in Italy before being hand-stitched onto a steel structure. Leather is the only material that combines suppleness and strength, which makes it possible to realize a fantastic design.

The Sendi is reflected in the latest iSaloni trend of delicate pink powder combined with gold. Sophisticated colour scheme, smooth angles and smooth lines give the collection airiness and allow you to play with the interesting play even a little wordy and restrained interior.

It is a proven fact that design transforms space, can stimulate contact and bring people together more intimately. This is why the Apelle collection is conquering spaces where it is important to combine a touch of insouciance with style.

Since Midj was founded in 1987, it has not only carved out a niche for itself in the international furniture market, but also offers the customer a unique product. Exclusive collections for private apartments and open spaces include chairs with or without armrests, armchairs, bar stools, coffee tables, couches and dining tables. With a wide range of finishes to choose from, it is easy to find the optimum solution for diverse interiors. They approach the design of each model as a know-how project.

Midj furniture is used to furnish flats and country residences, as well as public spaces (cafes, hotels, restaurants, conference rooms, offices, offices, waiting rooms). Often Midj is used to organize open space concerts, arrange areas for sports fans. The company's products are for those who appreciate style, thoughtfulness and comfort.

In addition to the Apelle model, the project also includes dining and bar stools from the Joe collection.
